We all make mistakes. Sometimes they’re tiny and barely affect us, and other times they’re big and affect not only us but those around us as well.

To explain my thoughts in this article, I’ll talk about myself rather than thinking up arbitrary examples.

In my articles, I don't want to give off the impression that I’m perfect and can do no wrong, because I still mess up, and I’m still learning.

Right now, I write my feelings down in a journal, or in blog posts like these, because I don’t know how to deal with them another way.

It might be obvious, but I’m not great with emotions.

Because of my weakness in understanding my own emotions + other people’s emotions, I’ve landed myself in some sticky situations. It sucks to hurt others and hurt yourself because you’re not sure how to control and process your feelings. What sucks more is when you hurt someone you care about.

I still beat myself up all the time because of stupid things I’ve done, even though I know that what matters is that I learn something from my mistakes. But it’s hard, y’know?
